That’s our Mission Statement. It’s a statement we spent lots of time thinking about. The aim was to say something in 30 words or less that truly captured what Gartan Technologies was about. It’s not as easy as you might think to do it but we got there in the end. But before you can help your clients put a genuine value on their people’s time, you first have to put a genuine value on those clients. GMT is not just about the award-winning quality of Gartan Availability, Gartan Payroll and Gartan Roster, it’s also about providing genuine value to the client right throughout the lifetime of the relationship and our licensing model is just one of the ways we do that.
Traditionally, organisations like yours buy software, then when the system needs to change, to meet unforeseen new requirements, you have to pay a lot of money to your provider. Essentially, from the moment you buy the software, it’s value is decreasing. It’s very relevant on the day it’s first installed but as time goes on, it becomes less and less relevant. Unless, of course, you’re happy to spend more and more money to keep it updated.
It’s like when you buy a new car. The moment you drive it out of the forecourt its value is decreasing. But imagine if you could get your new car replaced every year with another new car at no extra cost?
